Поиск подходов к обеспечению экономической безопасности Луганской Народной Республики (ЛНР), как и других новых территорий Российской Федерации, способствует повышению эффективности процесса их интеграции. Статья посвящена обоснованию целесообразности применения показателя «качество жизни» как оценочного критерия в системе экономической безопасности региона. Исследуемая проблема методологии оценки уровня экономической безопасности региона отечественными учеными преимущественно решается посредством использования результативных валовых показателей. По мнению ряда исследователей, такой подход является недостаточно точным. В ходе исследования определено значение и место оценки методического и управленческого инструмента в системе экономической безопасности региона. Исследование опирается на методы системного, дескриптивного и сравнительного анализа. В работе представлен авторский подход к формированию комплексного показателя «качество жизни» и результаты анализа уровня качества жизни Южного федерального округа за 20162021 годы. Данный регион был выбран по причине отсутствия необходимой статистической информации по ЛНР. Оценка экономической и социальной ситуации ЛНР проведена по отдельным показателям. Анализ показал, что уровень качества жизни на уровне региона достаточно точно отражает уровень экономического развития и экономической безопасности. В дальнейшем необходимо скорейшее включение ЛНР и других новых территорий в систему регионального статистического учета РФ.

The search for approaches to ensuring the economic security of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), as well as other new territories of the Russian Federation, contributes to improving the efficiency of their integration process. The article is devoted to substantiating the expediency of using the indicator “quality of life” as an assessment indicator in the regional economic security system. Domestic scientists predominantly solve the problem of assessing the level of economic security of the region by using effective gross indicators. According to some researchers, this approach is not accurate enough. The study determines the significance and place of assessment as a methodological and managerial tool in the economic security system The study identified the significance and role of assessment as a methodological and managerial tool in the regional economic security system. The research is based on the methods of system, descriptive, and comparative analysis. The paper presents the author’s approach to the formation of a comprehensive indicator of “quality of life” and the results of the analysis of the quality of life in the Southern Federal District for the period of 2016-2021. This region was chosen due to the lack of necessary statistical information on the LPR. The assessment of the economic and social situation in the LPR was conducted based on individual indicators. The analysis showed that the quality of life at the regional level accurately reflects the level of economic development and economic security. In the future, it is necessary to include the LPR and other new territories in the Russian Federation’s regional statistical system as soon as possible.
